The Island

Hiked out to the Island where Ashleigh and I were married last Friday.  We ate dinner around a camp fire, watched the sun set and then headed home; twas a perfect evening.

I love finding cool old photos of bikers getting married.  I know that getting married should not be taken lightly, it is a divine institution between one man and one woman that was ordained and sanctioned by God. Marriage is a picture of the relationship between Christ and his bride; those who follow Him.  Please remember that marriage is not easy and does take a lot of work. The bible tells us men to love our wives as Christ loved the church; Christ died for His church, we need to die for our wives;  not talking about just physically but talking about dying to your own desires and wants for the sake of your spouses, being self-less. 

 Lord, help us as men to be the husbands that you desire us to be, to put our wives needs above our own.  Amen

It is unfortunate to me that most people who say the above words are lying.

it is unfortunate to me that most people do not understand that love is a choice.. not a feeling.

 

Fortunately I did not lie to my wife and I choose to love her every second of every day. Also fortunately for me She as well did not lie and chooses to love me every day.

A Bikers Wedding

If you follow my blog you'll remember a while back I found four sets of the Wedded Wheels MC patch sets; I gave one to my brother Tim, sold one on the auction site and decided to keep two for myself. A guy named Adam contacted me saying he had just gotten married and would love to have a set to put on his marriage tribute wall.  I really didn't wanna get rid of another set but figured anybody who loves MC culture as much as I do and respects marriage as much as I do deserves it.  Turns out Adam is a RAD guy who belongs to the Scuzzbuckets MC out of North Carolina.  Here are some Pics Adam sent me.
